Energy and Sustainability - Award

Want to make a difference and build a greener future? This course will provide you with a solid understanding of energy efficiency and sustainability. You will gain essential knowledge and skills that increase your awareness of sustainable practices and support your progression to further study in a range of related areas.

Throughout the course, you will explore important topics including energy efficiency, sustainable living, and environmental impact. This will help you understand how sustainability principles apply across various industries and in daily life.

  • What you will study

    The units you will study are:

    • Carbon Awareness
    • Improving Energy Efficiency
    • Sources of Energy
    • Sustainability and Environment Awareness
  • Entry Requirements

    There are no entry requirements

  • Assessment

    You will complete a project for each unit to demonstrate your knowledge using case studies

  • Moving Forward

    After completion you could go onto study a Level 2 course in areas such as environmental sustainability, energy efficiency, or green construction or choose to study an apprenticeship routes in environmental conservation, sustainable resource management, and facilities services or even go straight into employment
